A10-HTML/CSS Coding Blog

During this project, I had to begin building my resume that is web-based. There were several style tags that had to be incorporated in the the resume such as a style tag for pictures, names, words, etc. It was rigorous and challenging for me; however, I was able to build the foundation of the resume.

Within the resume's body, I embedded images, formatting tags such as: body, headings, and paragraphs. I was also able to link an "External Style Sheet" (CSS) into my HTML resume. Initially, CSS and I did not get along very well. CSS was a bit confrontational, but I ended up prevailing. CSS was a huge obstacle for me, so I re-watched tutorials to gain a better understanding of CSS.

My successes were learning how to link a one page into another. Also, I learned I was doing some things wrong, but I corrected them and will always remember not to make those mistakes again. For example, I was afraid of losing my work in Notepad, so I kept saving it. By the time it was ready to be saved, I had used my first and last name followed by the HTML extension. I thought I lost all of my work! I had a wonderful time doing this assignment. I loved the zip Folder that I placed my work in; I just hope I can unzip it one day. I tried to send the zipped folder to my wonderful instructor, Dr. Mears, but security would not permit it.
